Yah, that happens to me, but normally only on 4th gens and C5s. Everything else is reallly fast.

I'm glad I'm not alone with this issue. Every time I tune a car I always fight with connecting.

I have only had one single issue that I still cannot connect to an 04 C5Z. I can hook up my nemesis scna tool to it, and it works just fine, or even a simple code reader. But any time I try to hook up my VCM Ste for either Scanner or Editor, it does not recognize the vehicle. I believe it is purely a car issue, but so far I have changed out the PCM and still it wont read or even recognize the car. Next is painstakingly looking at the wiring and possibly the OBD II terminal itself on the car.

Just because HPT doesnt work on the car doesnt mean I will blame the interface. This car was trouble from the beginning and I think it will fight me the whole way. But, its just time right?
