K, I'm thinking about pulling the 6.0/4L80E out of my Silverado to drop into my 99' Z28. Can I just swap the ECM's out so I have the file to run the 4L80E in the Z instead of retuning the LS1 computer? Main reason I ask is I am thinking about dropping the LS1/4L60E into the Silverado so it would fix that issue on that side too. Also does anyone have any advice on the 80e to 60e conversion in the Silverado? Not too worried about any part of the swap except the wiring. I know on the 80E swap you use the harness adapter and then run on the front VSS so now I'm thinking that on the reverse side I'd have run the single harness on the truck and wire straight to the ECM as well and probably have to cut/splice the wires from the 4L80E harness to 4L60E connectors?
