What year harness & computer to run DBC on LQ4?
What year harness & computer to run DBC on LQ4? I'm right now in the process of buying a harness and computer for my 6.0 swap but I want to know what year harness (truck/car) and computer do I have to get to run DBC. Any help is appreciated.
Truck or Camaro. I guess it depand on the trans in a small part.
Lets just say all 2002 LSx operating systems are created equal. You can choose a truck or a car it doesn't mater.

I'm using a 4L80e that originally came from a truck, but I'm planning on getting it rebuilt with a manual valve body so I don't know if the part of the harness that connects to the transmission will have any effect.
The truck harness run a PRNDL switch on the side of the trans. The Body doesn't, so stay with the truck harness.

Go with the Truck setup then. The PCM is the same sevice number as a car. The Calibration operating system may have the same number, but it is probably the second OSID. The second one is more common to the trucks.
