Symptoms of bad front o2's?
Car surges when at constant RPM, half the gas mileage as normal, exhaust tips and body surrounding tips is black from car running very rich, when you open up the throttle- black smoke pours out!!!!!! 
Those were the symptons my 01 SS had when my passenger side front o2 went out last summer!!!! It Sucked!!!!!

LTrims max out, which runs rich which gives you horrible gas mileage. A quick test is to use on of the rear ones on the front, the rears dont effect the motor at all so you can put the damaged one in the rear bung.
