Can dealer disable VATS?
Could the hypertech have something to do with this? Can I reverse this?
Now,can the local dealer disable VATS with the VIN the donor car?

you can try to return to stock and see if that fixes it, but that only works if they save stock correctly, and put it exactly how it was before. some tuners do not do this, but the ones I work with do.

Whats more, they have to do it in a vehicle, they lack even the most basic benchtop loading harness

What Im saying is they cant use any of those programs at the dealership because it would void their dealer license, much like they cant install any performance parts for you

I know of a Ford dealer that advertises custom dyno tunes.

They charged me like $30 S/H to send two MAP sensors via UPS ground from ONE STATE away (NC to VA... about $7 UPS cost).
(sorry for off topic; just saw Flow...)
Not sure why that is.
Did you ever install a GM blower kit on a NA engine?
They made them for 4 cyl and V8's

Look at the Tech II for I think 1998. look for a SuperCharged 4cyl. Another dealer installed kit.

I just did it on a 2006 H3 Alpha Hummer for a local dealership, no cats, just Magnaflow's out the back!
I have a friend who owns a Tech II for personal use, he doesn't work for a dealer. Or any shop for that matter. Can I use his Tech II to disable VATS and emissions on my E38 ECM, so I can bleed (complex) cooling and hydraulic steering systems, in order to take the car to a real dyno tuner?
I'd rather have a real dyno tune, and don't feel like wasting money on a mail order tune or buying a tuning client myself, just to bleed fluid systems and load the car into the trailer to take it to a dyno.
