I'm about to put in my ms4 cam, I just need rods and springs. Not sure what im going to get yet either. Anyway, my question is if ill be able to drive my car with the cam and no tune. Its a m6 and I just dont have the four hundred bucks for the dyno tune. Should I not do it until I have the money or could I get by on a mail order tune until the time comes. I just dont want to do damage to my engine or run it lean. Thanks guys

I would venture to say that the car should be able to run without a tune, but itll run like ****. I would IN NO WAY run the car hard until it is tuned. Try and keep it under 3k. You may have to keep your foot over the throttle at a stop to make sure it doesnt stall.

I dont know much about the MS4, but when my MS3 was in the car, I had no problems. It would die sometimes, but I just started it back up. Matter of fact, I had to drive it 350 miles from Abilene TX to Houston were I got it tuned at MTI. Car ran 200% better after the tune.
