ls6 cam in 5.3

i have a ls6 cam from a z06. it is the .525/.525 lift. i want to put this in my 5.3 in my avalanche. i have timing cover and sensor. will i need to have my computer retune or can i tune it mmy predator? or wil diablo do me custom tune?

It's a punk enough cam that you probably don't need to
worry about it. It's not the lift that bothers accuracy, it's
the overlap and that cam has none.

my buddy went from a stock 01 cam to a stock 98 cam in his ls1 during his rebuild and on the 01 tune it idles like it has a large cam, smells like gas, and is a pain in the *** on cold starts

makes me wonder because several people on here agree it should run well without a tune

his car pulls hard its just annoying
