Building a 5.3, trying to use vvt from a ly6. However, I milled my heads without thinking everything through, and now have around 11.2 compression, with a little cam. Its pretty close in cid/cam to an ls2, so I'm wondering how much advance the stock ls2 engines tolerate on 91, and how often its running into knock retard?

Trying to see where I stand on this high comp/small cam thing. Its going 4x4, so I really want to keep the cam small.
