Post crate LS3 into 2002 camaro, PCM questions

I am interested in dropping a LS3 crate motor into my 2002 camaro.
I've read some articles about what's needed, most of the mechanical stuff I am ok with such as the oil pan swap.
What i do not know and would like to find out is what is involved PCM wise.

Would I be able to retain my current PCM and have that work with a LS3 motor?

Would I need a new PCM, if so what is involved with that?

you need that guy, and then just tune accordingly with the stock PCM.

thanks.

I think a throttle body that is cable operated to work with my gas pedal is the way to go. The throttle body that comes on the crate LS3 is drive by wire. Question is, can I get a replacement cable operated throttle body of the same size, and use the stock LS3 MAF sensor?

If that can be done, then is it possible to reprogram my LS1's PCM and load in the oem LS3 MAF transfer function? Is it possible to get that data and is it possible to load it into the LS1 PCM?

Easiest is to install a 90mm cable driven TB. You can tune in a LS3 MAF but it is a big change compared to a stock MAF.
