using HPT , bit of bucking
hi
i'm trying to fine tune my Vette '03 it's a 404ci NA t56 TFS215cc heads TXgiant cam 248.254 615.622 114 ICL110 FAST 92mm ported, 90 mm LS2 TB ported and so on... Compression is 11.4
iv'e tuned the VE and MAF and Idle airflow whith Russ.k , now i'm trying to adjust my throttle response better, ad get rid of a bit of bucking on some places.
i'm working in throttle cracker and thottle follower tablets, is there any way to have a config into the scanner so it will be good and easy to calibrate and tune in crispy throttle response and get rid of all bucking.
i've done many changes whith a bit of success, but i can't seeme to get it good in all places, one place it get's better but then get's worse in another :banghead:
I haven't changed the ETC Area Scalar yet, is that nessesery, i went from Ls6 to Ls2 TB but didn't change it then
if i'll do that now , will i **** many tablets up i've already calibrated
it is .0255, think it's .012 on the 90mm

You can play with your timing ( Spark Advance > High Octane & Low Octane ) where you car buck at low RPM which is notmally between 1000-1800 and what Cylinder Airmass ( can be discovered from your scan log file ) and it is normally between 0.28 up to 0.56, increase your timing by 1 or 2 a time and test the car .. remember don't go higher on timing
Also what fuel injectors do you have ? updating the offset vs volts vs Vac , Short Pulse Adder and Min Injector Pulse may help solve many drivability issues

about the timing, if it's bucking is it more likely that it needs to lower the timing on that point where its bucking

I had a look at your log & tune over at HPT.
You may want to mirror your idle timing & main timing tables, I see some issue when you are switching back & forth @ lower speed between those tables. I'm sure any change like that @ lower RPM will aggravate your donkey size cam. It also looks when you are the main timing table in the lower RPM area's the timing is to high. I would also suggest that columns say up 1600 rpm all be the same both idle & main so there is no timing change to set the surge off.
Your rpm diving when you clutch in with C5 is bit different than other cars. Try increasing your scaler number & see if that helps. My thought on this is that your motor is demanding a huge amount of air when idling & this is the only way with our DBW & our kinky C5 clutch in to get. Here is a link to HPT that may help you get the scaler right, its a bit out of the box for some tuners.

and i changed
Inj. timing
did Spark tables vs idel spark mirror
lowered the spark values i am now under 30° on the lower rpms should i go lower.... maby to 25°
lowered values in throtte cracker
lowered number in scalar first .019 then .012
all these changes made changes but the bucking from 1200-1600 dont go away
am i missing something , what more can i try out ???

find what TPS its having issues ands what rpm's and play with those cells.
follower is used when you are on the throttle and cracker is used when you are off the throttle.
