I'm trying to diagnose a power fluctuation from 1500-2500 rpms, so I've taken it to autozone to have them scan it. The problem is I'm getting power to the scanner but it reads connection problem, or something to that effect. My question is, could the fact that the scanner they use isn't the greatest quality cause an issue like this? I'm really wanting to tune out my egr, O2s and so on, but I'm pretty sure if i can't even scan it how can I tune it? You guys have any ideas?
