Default Need a good tuner.. Tulsa, OKC, KC, ect

Hey there guys I just bought a 2004 GTO with a 112mp maggie , it has the stock tune from magnacharger my understanding. It will have true duals when it gets tuned. I just want full potential of the maggie, no lights on the dash from the cats being gone ect..

Some one help me out and hook me up with a good shop to tune and dyno. Im in the Tulsa area, so Oklahoma City, Kansas City, St. Louis ect will all work...

Thanks for all the help and input anyone has!

I think most of the Tulsa GTO owners use SNL. You should probably go there.

Call DeWayne, ask for some references. Tell him the old man from Wichita with the white 98 Camaro told you to call him.

D&G Dyno in Hennessey. 405 853 5510

Hennessey is just west of Stillwater OK.

DeWayne tunes on a Mustang Dyno. A good tuner is almost spot on for driveability when finished tuning on a Mustang dyno (eddy current)because he drives the car on the dyno up through the rpm range each time checking AFR and timing on each rpm range.

A bung for the wide band will be need to be welded into your exhaust or DeWayne will weld one in. DeWayne uses Innovative to measure AFR and and tunes using EFI Live.

When you are there check out his Twin Turbo Mustang.

PS. You might want to invest in HP tuners or EFI live, a good wideband, and AFR guage. You will want those to fine tune it if needed or email your reads to DeWayne or tuners like Frost or Trifecta who will work with you via email as you road trip the car to nail the tune down to perfect.

Default The Old Man is Right

Stay away from those so called tuners if they do not have access to a load bearing dyno. There are a lot of these folks out there representing themselves as tuners that do not know any more than you do and that do not have access to the right equipment. Go with someone who knows what they're doing. There are quite a few tables that need to be calibrated for optimum performance. You will be contacted by a lot of pseudo tuners when you ask questions on this website.

There is a guy named Glen in OKC; watch out for him because he is a novice and does not know what he is doing. One arrogant SOB.

What are you, 10 years old? What do you know about me other than 1 email from you that I replied to where I suggested you tune your car yourself. Maybe you should study up on what this means.

Are you for real? You don't even know him at all. I will promise you this he is a professional that does very high quality work and always takes care of his customers.

I am busting my guts out at the guy calling someone a novice and can't even spell it. Anyone else enjoy irony?

Amazing how every thread requesting recommendations for tuners in OK turns degenerates into ad hominem attacks, name-calling, and a general shitstorm. Sheesh ...

Glen is a stand-up guy, btw.
