Is a HPP3 really necessary?? Just wondering... because I have heard of people having trouble with their's and I was just wondering...
I have different gears, and um, maybe a different tire size
....
so is it a must?? or could i set the car back to stock and sell it, or would that kill my car

If it's for your car, then yes, use it to change your settings. You'll get some performance out of it.

Use the HPP3 to calibrate for those changes, and when you get more mods, put back to stock, and have the comptuer tuned with edit/hptuners/diablo or whatever other method you can find.
