P0152 after dyno tune and rain
This problem did not occur before the dyno-tune, and nothing was changed physically on the car.
Had it dyno-tuned by a reputable shop Wednesday. I picked the car up last night, everything seemed fine. Except the only issue I had then was the car died a couple of times when trying to shift gears from park to drive. Gave it some fuel when the rpms dropped and it was ok. Other than that, it ran pretty strong last night.
Today, I had to drive to work in the rain... 3 miles... (heavy rain), and the SES light came on and has been on ever since. It stopped raining this morning & the roads are dry. Also the car started running like crap, almost like it was running on 2 cylinders, ie "misfiring dog." The transmission seemed to shift funny, acceleration was really slow, and of course the car feels rough. However with the SES light on it would run strong when it wasn't in its "misfire" running mood.
Stopped in to Autozone, had it scanned, P0152 (bank 2 sensor 1).
Ideas?? If I decide to replace that o2 sensor should I get direct fit Bosch, Denso, or NGK?? Guy there also recommends replacing both front o2 sensors??

LOL, If I was going to replace the O2 sensors, I would probably put back in as close to the original AC Delcos, Densos or Delphi's... but that's just me.
Have you checked the O2 sensors under the car to see if the connections and wires are ok ?
Have you tried to disconnect the battery ground cable for 30 seconds to allow the adaptive memory in the PCM to reset ?
Do you still have Cats? If not you may need to install some O2 simulators.
Even with new O2 sensors, you can still throw codes without cats.
.
I got underneath there and checked out the wiring, it seems fine. I even cleaned out the connections, took a heat gun to my o2 sensor & burned off any containment on it, nothing helped. My car has aftermarket cats & I don't recall seeing any o2 simulators. I haven't reset the battery so I'll go try that real quick.
My tuner said to bring my car by in the morning & he'll look into it.
I think you can do better than what Advance is asking for those.

These O2 simulators will tell your PCM what it wants to know.
