Default Need help tuning a Vette. Reduced Engine Power Code

I'm tuning a 01 Vette with Edit and everytime I upload a new program into the PCM it gives me a Reduced Engine Power Code 1518. Everytime I try to make a dyno pull, no matter how fat or lean I change my PE table it stays the same. My A/F is always really fat! Even if I clear the code, still the same result. Can anyone help me with this? Much thanks!

The 1518 is PCM to TAC module, loss of communication. This is common on Corvettes after a reflash. Reset it after flash(real easy on Corvette) or turn code off while tuning. I leave mine off.
On the fuel issues, I think you will have to give some more information on what you have done and some logging information.

Well, I turned the code off so now it doesn't give me the check engine light but it still pops up reduced engine power on the display after a reflash. We are logging the a/f on the dyno with a wideband O2 sensor, no matter how high or low I go on the PE vs. RPM table my a/f doesn't change.

Do you know how to reset it on the DIC? hold options while hitting the fuel button 4X after the corvete by chevy has flashed accross the screen. if there is a door ajar or anything else on the dic hit the reset button. anyhow this will bring up codes and if you want to reset it , hit the reset button once quickly then hold the reset button for like 3 sec and it will erase.

Another easy way with the Corvette to clear codes is with the engine running, turn the ignition over to the start position and hold for 3 seconds. I know it sounds weird, but it works.

You're saying the starter won't engage when you do this?

Correct....When I do DE events I often can throw codes for ABS or communication errors. I just blink the starter and everything is reset. If you do DE events and do this it will also turn on the Active Handling if you switched it off.
