I have a project car with a 4L80E trans. & a Lokar aftermarket floor shifter. The black plastic device/wires that go to the side of the trany have been removed. My ? is , in "HP TUNER" do I need the "PRNDL" setting to "TRUE" or "FALSE"? Is this table strictly to ID automatic VS manual transmission or is it for some other purpose. Thank for the help

 

I'm pretty sure it is for the vehicles that have the PRNDL indicator in the instrument cluster.

 

so does that mean sense my wiring does not support an instrument cluster, I don't need the PRNDL. hence "false"

Neutral start control is in that sw. Along w/ backup lites......

 

Thats good information. Lokar shifter has a p/n switch built on it. I'll have to route it though the starter relay.
