Tach Gauge issue
I have a set of 1995 V6 Camaro Gauges in my 1984 MCSS, I tuned the car with HP Tuners and set the Pulse Rate to 3, since the Gauges are analog, and the Engine is a V8. Also a shift light is installed and spliced into the Tach Signal wire correctly.
Here is the issue..
At idle is where they read correctly, go up the RPM's and they are off at an increasing rate. At 1500 on the Engine the Tach reads 2100..at 3k the Gauge reads 4k, etc.
I tried to set the Pulse Rate to 4 since it's a V6 Cluster(worked with my 98 Camaro that had V6 Factory Gauges) and no luck, they were way the fck off.
I'm waiting on a set of 1995 LT1 Camaro Gauges to come in, I figured since I ran these before in one of my Cars with the LS Swap that they should workout, that and they are factory set for a V8, and "should" work with the Tach Pulse set to 3.
My other thought is there is something interfering with the Tach Signal wire, but if that was true then everything else would be fcked up..but every other Gauge reads accurately.
Any thoughts?
