Default what sensor is this?

its next to the headers on the drivers side. i noticed it was broke, and lately ive been having problems with my car starting when its warmed up.

On the side of the head, just in front of the header...? ECT sensor.

yep, thats it, what does it do? and what will happen if its unplugged?

tells the pcm your coolant temp. it plays a roll in controlling some fuel tables and would definately affect your cold start afr. fix it.
