Does it run better? Does your torque converter lock up as it should? That's about the only way to tell if you don't have your own tuning software and a stock tune to reference to. I see you don't have a cam so you wouldn't see any difference in that respect, so yeah that's about it.

 

Depends on what shop tuned it

You should be able to tell just from driving it. After mine was tuned (before the cam) it was a night and day difference.
