Damn car won't start! (Yes I tried the search function)
Car won't start... Security light flashes... You've heard the story a million times. Here's what has been tried from what I remember.
Security light still comes on. What the hell is going on?! Any help would be appreciated.

- New key
- Swap BCM from another car
- Disabled VATS via LS1_edit
- VATS bypass module.

Look at the Detailed Disgnostic Info sticky at the top this group. Get the pdf file listed there. Page 9, after a PCM, PIM, or BCM have been replaced they must be security linked to each other using a Tech2 and a TIS.
I bet you will have to take the car to GM and have it done unless you know someone with these.
