Efi live scan cable not detected

Efi live scan cable not detected Ok it recognizes the cable now. Here's where im at now.
Anyway, I downloaded efi live and it's drivers, plugged it in, set up the scanners serial number and key, typed in my vin, and hit connect to vehicle. but nothing happens. It also says would you like to register this scanner, and I keep registering over and over but nothing happens, to my understaning it only needs to be registered for flashing, but I want to figure that out. I've double checked and everything I typed was right.
When I check emissions status, nothing. I go to info, properties, advanced, check clear all dtc's, nothing.
I'm sorry for the long winded questions, it's just frustrating and I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing...

V1 scan only. I'm going to upgrade to flash and scan soon and eventually v2. I can type it in to the liscense screen but when I hit ok it asks me if I want to enter it in again like it's not taking it.
Hey joecar I posted a similar thread on efi live and responded to you saying I can take pics but don't have photobuckEt, i can email them from my phone to anyone interested.
It might not matter to much the computer won't come on today. I'll keep screwing with it. Took it in for service and Ever since it's been like that. Repair shops response was "sorry"

Ok today I connectEd and it's doing an invassive scan for all modules. Never done that before. Slowly but surely I'll get it beat.

This is Awsome! I don't know what happened differently but today it's letting me do everything in dvt! I lowered my idle to 550, turned on and off fans, a/c everything!.
I guess my problem is fixed? Now all I want to do is figure out why stuff like the dash board won't work? Its Probobly a button I need to hit? I need to just go buy some books on this thing it's so fun!
