Default Auto To M6

Computer is fried and I have an extra auto pcm.

What do I need to do to make it usable for a six speed? Also how can I turn off skip shift?

I am using Tune Cat.

I'm not positive since I did this 8 years ago but I think you can just flash the auto pcm with a manual tune. If you want reverse lockout to function properly you'll need to pin out one of the pins in the back of the pcm. Skip shift is easy to disable in tunercat.

I read how to do it on a writeup on camaroz28.com

Cool.

I don't have an m6 tune and don't know of anyone in my area to let me copy theirs. I have an m6 396 tune, think that would work? LOL

I was wondering if there was a switch in tune cat or something. Right now I just turned off all transmission switches and it keeps doing the 1 to 4 shift. We don't have any other gears, lol.

Go to the ecm switch table:

Skip shift is listed as c.a.r.s. uncheck to disable

also the switch table has the m6 - auto toggle

and all the a4 diagnostiscs to turn off

then it should work

I remember seeing the m6 to auto before but I must be overlooking it.

Just started messing with it and my switches are missing a few of the things your picture has.

Like injector faults, automatic, and the tcc up and down releases. I wonder why they are different?

Nevermind, I just figured it out. I have an older version of Tunercat which I acqured from a friend.

Well, its missing a few things. I just downloaded the newer version and gonna fix everything.

Does anyone have a tune for a 355 with a hotcam and headers??
