When I got my car it had 26" tires and 3:73. I have swapped to a 28" and 4:10. I noticed this changed the shift points a little at the track on motor.
Well now I'm spraying nitrous and haven't made any PCM recalibration at this point. What I'm noticing is that on 100, the shift ok 1-3.
On a 150 the other night, the car hit the revlimiter going into 2,3 twice then I had a nitrous backfire. I have had it bounce a couple times before. But seemed like it made better power and blew through the convertor.
Anyway- I want to know why it didn't shift and hit the rev limiter on the 150 shot.
What are my options as of tuning the shift rpm/mph
Would you have different shift settings for nitrous vs motor?
Tranny still runs great and shifts real hard so I'm feeling this is tuning issue. Epecaially since I changed tires and gears without retune.
