1) Support for 2004
2) Safe Programming option. Use it to read the PCM. Then try to program
it. This program will go through all the steps, but not erase the PCM,
so it is a SAFE operation. See "Safe Programming" Below.
3) New Table - Added Timing for RPM vs EQ Ratio. The table is in 97 to
2004 PCM's, but it is filled with 0 in all the early files . EQ Ratio is
the Target Fuel enrichment. It is the same as PE Enrichment Ratio, but
could have other contributors.
4) Adds four new Tables for Decel Fuel Cut-off tuning.
5) Adds RPM controls For DTC P0106 Test
6) Fix Fan 2 so it accepts changed temperature.
7) Added Shift light parameters. These are used in some Holdens.
8) Added Support for 2003 SSR.
9) Adds support for GTO
10) Deletes NotePad for US 2004 Vehicles.
11) Truncates the Medium RPM misfire table for 97-98 cars. These cars
have a smaller table than the 99 up cars.
12) Fixes Gear scaling for 2004 Corvette with Auto Trans.
13) Support for Norton Anti-Virus under Windows 98
14) Fixes leak in Table edit window scaling. If you rescale the Table
edit window, It will keep that size when you reopen it.
15) Adds Pulse rate scalar for the ABS computer. DO not change this
unless you have large tires on your truck, and are setting ABS codes.
16) First support for CTS-V
SAFE PROGRAMMING Here is the way to use it:
1) Open LS1prog.exe
2) Go to the Settings Menu, and check safe
3) Go to the Log_coms menu and set up a log file.
4) Go to the Prog_PCM menu and select the file you want to load into
the PCM.
5) Select Action > Connect
It will go through all the programming operations. If you see no errors
on the ls1prog screen, it was a good program, But nothing in the PCM was
changed. Try it again. If you get no errors the second time, then you
should be safe to program the PCM. Do the same operation, but don't
click safe, and it will really flash the PCM.
If you see any errors during the SAFE or regular flash, send us a copy
of the log file.
