Default being to rich on the afr hurt boost levels

got a novi 2000 with a 3.0 pully and a 8" balance and only making 9 psi and in some gears only 6 psi with very little belt slip if any

Boost is a restriction on the intake side and it is measured by the MAP sensor in the intake manifold. Thus, the fueling you command in the combustion chamber has really nothing to do with what the MAP sensor reads in the intake manifold.

How many ribs? If its making different boost in different gears it sounds like the belt is slipping.
