Missing problem. Need help Hey guys, i've got a 99 trans am and its running weird. I revved it up to about 5k when a challenger srt8 pulled up, and since then its running like its missing, so I put all new gapped sparkplugs in and its still running like crap sounding as if its missing pretty bad. I am pulling two codes, P0300 random misfire detected, and (p1380 camshaft position actuator circut.(bank 1)(see p0010)
Im not too sure what the problem is. I installed a new cam positioning sensor, and i still have the same problem. I really need some help figuring
this out as it is my only car. And i love it

Before you keep going after sensors check the valve springs. You may have broken a spring or flattened a lifter. Any ticking noise?
If that checks out:
Check your crank sensor.
Check the primary plug (the big white one) to your coil pack for good connection
Check the wiring from your cam sensor to the PCM (run a separate wire to test)
