Default samaurai with a 3.4 swap tuning?

anyone know if one can tune a 3.4 from a 95 camaro. i am installing one into my samurai and want to turn off vats and egr stuff. anything out there

try one of these sites, last i recall the 3.4 camaro is a obd 1.5 that cant be programmed.

I think you might be able to put a newer 3400 crank in it and get a wiring harness out of a newer grand am and make it a obd 2. Im pretty sure the crank sensors are different between the 3.4 and the 3400

unless things have changed since i last checked, they can't be tuned.

is it possible to repin the ecm and run a newer impala computer i wonder?

You could go older and use an OBD1 system on it, but you'd have to switch the intake, either a TBI one from something like an S10 or a port style intake from an earlier F-body or a Fiero with the 2.8, so you could slide a distributer in to the back of the motor. This swap was very common for the Fiero guys about 10 years ago
If I was doing it, for your application I'd use the 1227727 ecm with the weather proof connectors, so you could mount it under the hood

Westers Garage is the only person i know that supports those PCM's
