Default 102 T/B problem. Voltage to high code tps

I am now using a PTM 102 t/b.. Got the car tuned and as they were trying to make WOT pull's it was popping a voltage to high code for tps. drilled out the holes for the tps sensor bumped it some and that fixedit for the time being. well after that the car was acting funny high idle 2500 to 3000rpms and hang there. andi was not happy with it the way it was. i never had this problem withmy 90 setup.

so far i have tryed making a t/b stop but with thestop i dont get full wot... and checked wiring all is good. i amgoing to tryoutmy friends ptm 102 this weekend. going to do a log tonight if it dont rain or tomorrow.

Did you adjust the throttle screw at all or make sure the blade was fully closed when you installed it?

I've got hanging idle from a hole drilled in my blade.

I have drilled out the two mounting hole in the plastic TPS sensor so that I can rotate it some. I then adjust the TB set screw to get about 30 to 60 IAC. Then finally rotate the sensor to get .55 at idle.
Hope that helps

Do you have a different TPS sensor you can try? That will eliminate any doubt that perhaps the sensor has gone nuts.

just got done dicking around with it set the tps to .43 closed after getting a new sensor that i had laying around. drilled the holes next size bigger. setup and relearned the tps sensor. and it now reads 4.75 volts and is no longer popping the code. Anything greater then 4.80 v and it would set off the SES and that code going to try that out tomorrow at wot in 4th gear on the road and log...

Rob, you TB blade is opening past 90°. That's prolly why you're pulling that code. You TB shouldn't open up past 90° or 4.71v

Hope this helps? Also that info I stated at the top, sicne you're running a 102mm TB, that info is based of a stock 74mm TB.. Dunno if that matters??
