Crank No start/then start and runs fine??

Crank No start/then start and runs fine?? ok i am stumped! car has been running great! last night going home from work get in and all it did was crank! the bam it started. ran perfect all the way home, no check engine lights, no miss, nothing. then this morning same thing took alot longer but finally started. so i think maybe my gas gauge is broke. Fill up w/ out shutting off. get to work shut it off and no start.
so i have no codes, no pending codes, and no theft light. i am stumped! i'm getting it towed to the shop after work today and gonna go at it tomorrow but what do you guys think.
