If my MAFS was bad would it throw a code?
that would be set if the MAF was runaway or
dead. But simply bent from cleaning accident
might just leave you with a bad mixture and no
code. Some codes relating to mixture faults can
take a day or two to show up.
with my 85mm MAF tuning. But this was a natural
characteristic. I don't know how to restore a MAF
that's been messed up by cleaning. I think maybe
another cleaning shot, maybe with a friendlier
solvent (which alcohol? Rubbing alcohol has a lot
of water in it.). Also check that there's no foreign
matter on/in the sense coils and that none of them
are physically out-of-place or broken.
Maybe someone who's successfully cleaned their
MAF will chime in with chemicals used etc.
