Major Idle Issues
Major Idle Issues I've been driving the car for a year now and the idle has always been a bit funny, but its getting worse and worse. The last month or so it started idling at 2000-3000rpm. I could restart the car over and over again and it would finally come down to the Target Idle Speed. I delt with that for a while, but now the car wont idle high enough. It wants to idle at 400-700rpm's and surges then normally cuts off. I hooked up the laptop and watched the IAC steps, while trying to stay running, the steps are 175-195!! The A/F Ratios are in the mid 15's. Sometimes the idle will clear up after a few mins and the steps will fall back down to the 60-70 range, other times the idle wont clear up. I'm at a point now where I cant even drive the car anymore. It seems to be running on all cyls. I've posted on the HPTuners board, but not to much action over there.
