throttle response

whats up im runnin a 92 camaro with 5.3 swap and ls6 intake still working some bugs out trying to get it to go closed loop so i can do some efi live tuning. Anyways what can i do to get some better throttle response outta the engine? Ive got a cai and exhaust on the way, would like some input maybe on the tuning side to make it real snappy when i hit the throttle.

Dial in the VE and MAF accurately. Then, about all you can do, is increase the off idle timing. You don't have an electronic throttle, so you can only do so much.
