'99 Z28 - P0412 and P0418
'99 Z28 M6 w/ 217K miles. Shooting for 300K.
I noticed the "Service Engine Soon" light come on yesterday. Using my Actron code reader, I found these two coded: P0412 and P0418. Both are related to the Secondary AIR system. The second code seems so indicate an malfunctioning AIR relay.
Referencing my Haynes manual, I started with the mini-fuse under the hood. This fuse was blown. So I've replaced the fuse and erased the two codes.
It seems to me that the blown fuse could cause those codes. Sound right to you guys?
My question is really about erasing the codes. Assuming that the codes were caused by the blown fuse and the fuse was just old, then everything could be fine.
But if something else in the system is causing the fuse to blow, will the computer toss those codes again?

A blown AIR PUMP fuse will throw those codes simulataneously - see what happens. You can look up the codes at gearchatter.com for your year and get a comprehensive description/diagnostics for each. My guess is fuse blew for a reason other than just being old - might be wiring, a seized air pump, water in pump, etc.
