HPT with FIC 160's - Need help
Hi, I am trying to find some info on tuning the FIC 160 # injectors.
Here is my setup:
2007 4.8L stock shortblock.
317 heads, valve job, PRC springs.
02+ LS6 cam
Vic Jr Intake
2002 LS1 ecm & harness
160# FIC injectors.
TC76
HPT 2 bar SD tune
2 walbro 255's, 1 on hobbs
Right now, I have the stock 2002 tune with only the 2 BAR SD upgrade and followed the step by step instructions on HPT forum.
I loaded the tune and the car ran and idled with stock 28# injectors.
I installed the 160's and the data and the car runs okay but has an AFR of 105-11.0 at idle, pig rich.
So far, I cannot get the injectors to go below 2.0 inj pulse width.
From what I was told by a friend who has tuned many cars with HP tuners, he said the inj pulse width needs to be around .8-1.0 for Stoich at idle.
Does anyone have any data or tune for HP that I can reference or any advice?
Thank you
Adam
