Default need assistance with fixing a code

P1416 I think it is. Description is Secondary air injection bank 2.


anybody have any idea what the problem may be?

or even more basic, what is the secondary air injection? I didn't realize we had two air pumps???

probably a bad check valve on the passenger side

Same code appeared on my brothers WS6, so i did some research and everyone told me to replace the check valve so i did, wasnt hard at all. Well a few miles later no SES light anymore so i figured that was the fix, but my bro just told me today that its on again but it had been off for a few hundred miles. So now i am back at square one trying to figure out what it is.

when I get in there is it obvious on how I replace the checkvalve?

can you give me a quick run down of how to do it?
