you're in for a rude awakening if you think tuning is just something you can dive into with out research.

you can hack your VE tables if you want, but thats a half-assed way to do it.

it's been a while since i messed with HPTuners on a LS car. But you pretty much want to reset/learn your fuel trims, dial in your MAF transfer function, log/dial in the VE tables, then WOT tuning. You're going to want to log AFR if you plan on doing WOT tuning.

Not to sound like an *** but it seems like you have a lot more reading to do. Basically, you will need to dial in your VE and MAF tables for the mods you have done to your car. The best way to do this is with a wideband and from there you log some data with the scanner and correct the tables where needed.

Here is a good place to start reading. http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4742

Here is another good resource. http://ls1tuningguide.com/index.php

The wideband will be a lot more accurate especially when tuning WOT. The stock narrowbands are designed to target for stoich (generally 14.7:1) and they aren't very reliable for anything other than stoich.
