I need to learn the PCM?

Default I need to learn the PCM?

I am building a 5.3 engine but I dont know anything about the computer controled EFI and how to reprogram it to match the larger cam and injectors??? How do I learn?? Which forum is apropriate?I have built carbed engines but this is my first PCM controlled engine
What is this FAST engine management system??
Do I need it?

5.3L GenIII
larger cam
11 to 1 pistons
heads ported and polished
bigger injectors 42's

I did research on this forum and i will buy the $500.00 software. Looks like the only real way to go. Hopefully its user friendly.
I worked with a windows based EFI system my buddy and I put on his 911

Most folks use hptuners software,,definately need to learn what your doing or youll cause serious damage. Software I have heard is around 500 bucks,, thats what a professional dyno tune cost. Something to consider. I built my stroker and paid a pro to wring the most out of it.
