Won't idle with oil cap on...ideas??

I know Jim is a very competent tuner in the business, but I am wondering why he couldn't get it to idle any lower? I am happy with the final numbers, but the idle is bugging me. Final numbers were 516 RWHP/486 RWTQ with over 400 TQ at 3200...

1200 is crazy high. I can get sheetmetal intake solid roller cars to idle lower.

At least 1200 is what the factory tach is telling me...
The bad thing is that he is 1 1/2 hrs away from me so it's not real easy to just run over and have him take a look at it...

900-950 should be good.
