Code scan/clear for 98 Trans-Am I just finished installing my new engine in my T/A after is has sat for 2+ years. I have some codes and it backfires every now and then. I figured I would just pull the codes and see whats up, but the computer i had EFILIVE on is dead. I used an old version on my laptop, and I can't seem to get the newer stuff to work. I just used it because you didn't need a licence for 98 cars.
The car is missing most of the front end, and isn't registered so driving up to the part store is out.
I need a program I can run on my laptop, to just scan /clear codes. What do you guys use???
