Default MAF problems..NEED HELP

Hey guys, the other day I started my car and it was running really bad. Idling high then dying on its one shifting weird, just drove like a real pos. So found out it was a code for a MAF sensor. Ok no big deal the car has 196k miles so it may of went bad. So I order a AC-Delco one and when I get it, it looks noting like the old one in the car. Is this correct?

Then instead of putting that one in I put a friends stock one which I know works and it runs a tad better but we are still seeing 0 input from the MAF in hptuners. Also the short and long term fuel trims are all out of wack.

Can anyone help me?

Chris

Measure the key on voltage between the pink and black wires the MAF connector with a volt meter.
