p0300 rain today.
p0300 rain today. I was driving to my other class and felt the car start to get a misfire and it started getting worse. So i hooked up hptuners and saw b2s1 02 mv were stuck right around 700 and barley moved at all. stft were taking out a TON OF FUEL! like -39%. I had to extend my own 02 harnesses when i put my headers on and i think thats the culprit.

Yup got it up on a lift at school today and found where i wrapped my soldered joints in electrical tape was wet. Yea i know i should have used heat shrink...... was in hurry to get to the track. Well while i was under there i did a real job wrapping them and drying them out and it looks to be good now. Car is running better now too.
I knew it was the 02 sensors when i went to pull it in the shop, it ran great because it was in open loop so that basically told me it was my wiring or a bad 02.

Di electric grease is not heat shrink. Heat shrink could possibly allow any moisture to stay inside the connection. When you get the chance, I would take and put di-electric grease inside the female portion of both connectors then make sure they are good and tight and snap together. Its always better with lube I hear......
