In addition to Pur Perfromance and Redline; here are some more. I would choose Mid Coast since it has a Mustang Dyno; that your tuner can utilize the loading feature to fine tune each rpm range.

Adrenaline Motorsports: Dynojet

Mid Coast Performance: Mustang Dynamometer 1100-SE chassis dyno http://www.midcoastperformance.com/

I would look into omar phelps shop, can't think of the name of it but he is a big time street racer in the area, has had the fastest cars around and tunes everything. Has a pretty quick "stock" ls car I hear

Pur Performance with Keith McCord. Done.

Stay far away from PBJ and Mid Coast.

i know a shop that uses keith. they said his full throttle tuning is great. however, his tuning to help drivability is not that good.

well im not at all disapointed in who has done my tunes for me in the past. in fact he has done an excelent job for me. but ive changed some things around and its time for an updated tune. the only reason im looking into a dyno tune is because i guess you could say im getting to be an old fart and cant afford to get any kind of tickets while tuning on the street.

I know off hand of five cars including one heads/cam car he has screwed up.

One of my friends has a TA that was having obvious OBVIOUS MAF related issues and he sold her a partial tune to fix it.... Now you can't put a good MAF on the car because of the shitty tune, and he won't retune the car without a significant investment. The car runs way worse then before he touched it. To me, its obvious he took advantage of someone who was a little naieve on cars before I could interject and actually help out.

Interesting...my car was spot on. We took a long drive to get part throttle and drivability tuning down, I think he spent a good three hours on my car in one session and I didn't even have that much done. He dialed the car in perfect. He said if it wasn't perfect or I didn't like some aspect of it driving just make an appointment and he'd make it right.

Keep in mind, this is an internet forum so everyone will spout the bads and none of the goods.

If you have any doubts, actually go to a shop and talk to the people and compare..... spending about 15 minutes with Keith completely put my mind at ease over anyone else.

Did you get your car tuned OP?

The guy I use is DSteck tuning, I used PBJ before that and my car had drive-ability issues plus was tuned to lean from Joe. I took it back twice and he couldn't get the car to drive any better. Dave came to my house and fixed my drive-ability issues in 15 minutes, plus tunes on the safer side.

I wouldn't let PBJ tune my Briggs & Stratton lawnmower. He's the reason I tune and work on my own car at the ripe ol' age of 48.

If I gave up doing it myself, I'd ask DSteck to take care of it for me.
