Smile 91 vette pcm plus 496 big block

Hi there-

I am new to this forum, but I had a question about some parts I have. I've got a computer for a 91-92 corvette, and a fuel injection manifold from a 96-97 454, with all the components and sensors minus the computer. I built a 496 stroker to complete the package. Can I use this computer with this set up? If so, what modifications must be made? I would appreciate any input anyone could offer. Thank you very much for your time!

Matt

well, your pcm is obd-1 first of all and not a big strength of this forum, we are all (for the most part) obd-2. personally, i think you would be better off with an aftermarket injection system, it would be a lot easier. aside from that, the injection system should interface with the pcm you have, you will just do a lot of battle getting it all to work properly. do you have a programming tool such as carputing's software? if not, you will need it.
