I just got a predator tuner. I think it's perfect for someone who doesn't want to get too deep into tweaking their engine tune. Plus, it will read trouble codes and erase them-as well as live monitoring of some engine parameters. I'm looking at getting 4.10 gears (again the predator comes in handy), I wouldn't waste my dough on 3.73's-just step up to the 4.10's for maximum tire balding fun.

Other handheld tuners are junk (a.k.a. Hypertech).

Ls1edit/Hp tuner/etc. are serious tools for serious tuners who have access to things like chassis dynos, accurate a/f meters, and so on. Great fun if you know what you're doing and are willing to climb a steep learning curve.
