Default DBW computer for blue/red harness?

I bought a harness for my project. I want to use DBW and thought that I read that any harness will work, even if I had to add some stuff. Well I bought a cheap harness/PCM/fusebox and it has the 869 PCM, which is not compatable with DBW. Is there a pcm for my harness connectors that will work?

Edit: oh and I am attempting to use all of this with a L76 intake and 4 bolt TB.

Even DBW? I've read on other threads here that there aren't any tunes for the 896 and DBW.

That is false.
There are some factory vehicals with the 09354896 PCM that were DBW. All corvettes were DBW and I believe some Camaro's were also DBW equiped. In the truck line up, they had to be equiped with auto ride suspension feature which was sort of a rare option.

There are no camaros from 1998 to 2002 that where drive by wire that im aware of. All where cable throttle.

You should be fine flashing in a dbw program into that ecm though. The 411 and that one interchange pretty easiely.

Just make sure if you use the VETTE file, to do a segment transfer of a camaro over to it for the trans and speedo stuff, so that it will be quicker to set up for the gear ratios and tire size/shift point stuff since you wont be using the transaxle.

Good to know. I have never actually messed with the 4th gen camaro's only the trucks and a few early vettes
