Put the fuel pressure gauge on it stick it under the wiper and go for a WOT spin. If it starts losing pressure then you need a fuel pump unless the filter is that restricted in which case you will need a pump next week..........

Doesn't matter. When you are at idle your car doesn't need a Lot of fuel pressure to run. When at WOT u need more fuel. You said the fuel trims are high right? Check them and see if when u step on the gas the trims go down. That's an indication of intake leak. PM if you need more help.

i didnt get enough sunlight to go and do a wot run with the fuel pressure gauge but at idle the gauge reads 52psi. if i rev/blip it a bit the pressure drops to like 48-49psi then hoevers back to 52psi.

okay, got some results-rather bad though....at cruising speed its at ~41-43psi and when i romp on it from 2nd gear the pressure drops and at the top of 2nd gear going into 3rd its at 22-23psi 0_0 im not gonna be doing anymore WOT runs until this is fixed. glad nothing went boom yet.

so what could it be? any suggestions and advice?

TIA guys

edit-if its running lean up top i dont get loads of KR though? i didnt remove anything KR related in the ecm

will do. gonna change the fuel filter this weekend and check if the fuel pressure at idle changes at all. thanks

edit-FWIW, the fuel filter thats underneath the driver side near the rear wheel, i noticed theres one rubber line thats not connected to the fuel filter(fuel filter only has one inlet/outlet) thats coming from the fuel pump side. dunno if thats important or not to mention.

Changed the fuel filter, no change in psi at idle. going to cur the trap door tomorrow to get the fuel pump assembly out. Don't have a spare fuel pump but bought the fpr to swap in and see if that fixes the issue.

swapped the FPR...still no change. i just ordered a racetronix FPA-002 F98.
i bought a thin sheet metal and will make the cover plate for my newly accessible fuel pump access panel

after screwing up with the lock ring on the racetronix fp i got another one. buttoned everything up and primed the fp 5-6 times. installed the fp pressure gauge and fired the car up and its at a happy 58-59psi at idle compared to 52psi. gotta retuned the maf as its currently rich cause i was messing with the fueling to find out what was wrong originally.
