SD tune for turbo 5.3
2000 5.3, 02 ls6 cam, ls6 springs, t76 turbo 9-12lbs boost, 93 octane, th400
its a pretty basic set up and i dont really know what im doing i just got the tuning software and i would rather try to tune myself first than paying $200-$300 to do it for me. thanks
You said you don't know anything about tuning, a turbo setup isn't the best time to start learning.
You are already asking for free tunes (which nobody will give you) not the best way to start.
Take it to a reputable tuner to give it at least a base tune. Don't go WOT until you have a good grasp of the basics of tuning. You need to spend a lot of time reading, buy a few books, etc.
Nothing is free, if it doesn't cost you money, it will cost you time and work (I mean a lot of time)

Remote tuned a CTSV today. Just sayin..........
Yep Im nick at nj54880 i emailed you a few days ago edcmat and I plan on going to you once it becomes time to start my truck up. I just wanted to get a base tune from someone else first and try tuning and learning off of that myself for a while. Then if I don't feel confident, I will definitely be going to you and have you tune it for me. I still got tons of research and playing around to do

But say I decide to turn up the boost later on down the road, do I need to re-tune for that specific boost level? And if I do need to tune it, do I need to go to one of you or can I tune it myself after you get me a good base tune?

BUT if u are not really familar with tuning and dont really know everything, i wouldnt attempt a turbo tune at first.
It doent take but one simple mishap with a turbo setup. Bent rod, broke piston etc. can happen really quick. I would let someone who does tuning get u started in the right direction. Paying for a tune is cheaper than buying a motor! Just my .02
