Default COT ? no cats

I am VERY NEW to the tuning world and just picked up a diablo sport predator. I have a friend that has messed with tuning on a few cars but is very front about not knowing everything about it. He didn't know what the COT was so he didn't mess with it. After a little research i fig out what it was. I have an 01 camaro and am running long tubes and off road y pipe. I should turn COT off correct? It should essentially help me out in my tuning?

The alternative, for people running catted Ys, is to change
the max COT enrichment to equal your maximum PE enrich.
Less effective at quenching them, but somewhat, and does
not bug your fueling.

Hey thanks guys. Sorry if som of the questions I may ask seem a little obvious but I just want to check because I like to do things right the first time. And really don't want to fix something because I f-ed it up.

And one more quick question by turning off COT will it disable (I.e. turn off the rear O2's)?
