The ngk does not use the bosch sensor anymore. It uses the upgraded sensor standard on every controller sold.

This, the company that produces them in supposed to be the industry standard.

The AFX was recommened to me by my tuner, and he hates Innovate because he says alot of time they give him trouble.

NGK AFX... If its good enough for Greg Bannish, it's definitely good enough for me...

The AEM UEGO is good as well.

The Innovate LC-1 was the single biggest pile of **** I've ever owned. I hated it with a passion and it ate sensors like no ones business, was complicated to wire (shielding from ground interference and such), and the software that came with it to calibrate it for lambda, E85 etc was a joke, and it would NEVER hold the calibration, it would always revert back to factory settings.

I finally gave up and threw it away. The NGK and AEM are both hassle free, hook them up and they work, period.

Mine is portable. It takes me probably 5 mins to unhook the power source (battery) and wideband sensor off the exhaust bung.

Do you just run wires with alligator clips or something to the battery?

So the general consenses is that the Innovate are nothing but trouble and always have some sort of issue when they are used?

I have heard that the AFX widebands are very accurate and dependable. So i will prolly end up buying an AFX. I will let you guys know what i buy and how it works.

The Innovatives are hit and miss. The problem is there are way too many misses. My car was tuned a half a dozen times or more with an Innovative wideband, so I'm not saying they can't work. They just have lots of issues from lots of people. And, add to that, there isn't near as much technology in the controller section of the unit as there is with something like the NGK AFX setup. Like I said, it is the budget wideband to buy. I got mine for around $250 shipped new.

Yes. Straight to the power source.

I have this on and enjoy it. Easy to read at a glance, and has data logging capabilities.
