My secondary air system is throwing some codes and causing me to fail inspection. I went ahead and pulled the fuses and unhooked the hose from the intake. I want to go ahead and take it out when i get the blockoff plates in(still stock headers). But i have to pass inspection this month and my SES light is on bc of the AIR system. Ive read where you can have it "tuned out." i called a certain sponsor on here and asked if they could tune it out for me. said he'd never heard of the air system delete... What do i do/ who do i go to to get this light off to pass inspection?

 

its probaly illegal to do down there thats why you got that answer over the phone

 

dont know who you talked to, but yes you can disable the SES light for the AIR system, it can even be done with a simple handheld as a diablo....

 

That's what I've heard but when I get an answer like that I'm worrying about having to reinstall the air pump and everything..
